Abstract Convictions

I can't make the words leap from my lips.
They're on my mind all the time,
but never on the tongue.

A knight in his code and psyche.
He could never be outdone
Whilst floating beyond solitude.

Dawn's rosy tips are spreading quickly,
just like the girl in a vacant mood.
Aware of a state of indifference.

An empty soul with an empty mind.
They gleam in all their brilliance,
but you know better do you not.

Words passing through another heart,
being more than distraught.
Such abstract convictions.
